Between the hours of 5 AM and 6:20 AM ET on Monday, April 29th, the Formstack application experienced intermittent service disruptions impacting account and form access. During this time, your Formstack account, form users, and/or submissions, may have been unavailable. The total intermittent service-impact time was 22-minutes.
Our Development teams have identified the root cause to be related to high traffic to a specific part of our application and an increase in processed background tasks. To address these issues in the short-term, we have implemented procedures to quickly and efficiently restore those processes so they can be corrected more rapidly. As a long-term solution, we are moving to a more resilient back-end system as well as targeting specific portions of the application and moving these to separate servers so we can safeguard, monitor, and resolve against future incidents.
We apologize for any delays or confusion this may have caused. As of 6:20 AM ET on Monday, April 29th, all access to your Formstack account and forms has been fully restored and we have continued to monitor form, account, and server activity.
