On Monday March 23rd, 2020 we have scheduled a 1-hour non-downtime maintenance window beginning at 9:00 am ET (1 pm UTC) until 10:00 am ET (2 pm UTC).
There is no expected downtime and Formstack will remain responsive during this 60-minute maintenance window but there may be action required on your part.
Details about this maintenance:
Formstack will be switching from the TLSv1.1_2016 on our CDN to TLSv1.2_2018, which will disable negotiating connections with TLS 1.1. These updates improve the security of submission data by no longer supporting TLS 1.1 protocol. More modern browsers will already be connecting using TLS 1.2. For this reason, we recommend updating to the latest available browser version for your operating system.
After this release, browsers older than the versions listed below will not be able to negotiate TLS 1.2 and will be unable to access the Formstack account platform. Embedded and Formstack hosted forms may also be impacted by this update if your forms are being accessed by Users on older browsers. In those instances, this may require a browser version update if the browser is older than the following versions:
- Chrome 30
- Firefox 27
- IE 11
- Safari 7
- Opera 17
- iOS Safari 5.1

If your Form Users report accessibility issues after this release, they may need to update their browser version or use an alternative browser. Note: Most browsers that have been updated within the last four years will continue to work.
During the scheduled maintenance window, Formstack’s web application, including live Forms, emails, webhooks, API transmissions, and the ability to accept submissions will be available. There is no anticipated downtime.
